If you encounter checksum verification errors in your backup software, most likely this is due to a faulty cable. Please make sure to replace it with a short, new ethernet cable which is at least CAT5e.

If the issues persist please work through the following list:

  • Install the latest PHANTOMfuse version from here

  • Check the log for errors (PHANTOMfuse β†’ Help β†’ Debug β†’ Show Logfile)

  • Check your external connections / interfaces / cables.

  • Restart your CineStation. Completely remove its power for at least 10s

  • Restart your computer

  • Check your RAM for defects using Apple diagnostics

  • Check if the latest driver for your external Thunderbolt to 10GbE adapter or internal Ethernet card is installed properly

  • In case you use an internal Ethernet card, try using an external Thunderbolt to 10GbE adapter

If these steps did not help, please send us a detailed error description using the support request feature in the apps menu. This will include the latest logs.
