Feature Compatibility
Our goal for this Beta is to bring the core Parashoot experience to Windows. While most features are fully operational, there are a few specific workflows currently in development.
✅ What is working:
Core Erasure: Full support for "Fake Formatting" and safe verification.
Prep Mode: Fully functional for quick card preparation.
Batch Erase Hotkey: Keyboard shortcuts for batch operations are active.
Stream Deck Integration: The plugin is fully functional on Windows.
Automatic Shuttle Drives: Parashoot will automatically detect and add shuttle drives as they are mounted.
Background Operations: Verify and erase tasks run smoothly in the background.
⚠️ Known Limitations (Not yet supported):
Sony Venice: Specific support for Sony Venice (AXS) media is not yet available in this build.
Codex HDE: High Density Encoding support is currently disabled.
Reporting Issues
Please remember that this is a Beta release. While we have tested it extensively, you may encounter edge cases depending on your specific Windows hardware configuration. If you spot a bug or something behaves unexpectedly, please reach out to us.
